For the production of this tea, new tea leaves are collected at mountain top plantations in the province of Ruhuna, Sri Lanka at an altitude of 2,000 feet above sea level. The ideal location of the plantations in relation to the sun and clear mountain air filled with the aromas of exotic plants give the tea its special flavor and bright color.
